English: Propaganda comics to advocate against "non-commercial" licences
Text (Rama's attempt, feel free to improve the English)
  • Excellent idea, my dear Zea! I will lend my photographs so that you can put them into Wikipedia! But I would like a non-commercial licence.
  • Thank you, Uncle Philip! But it would be better to allow commercial uses.
  • Ha, my dear! I would not like to see publishing houses enriching themselves from the tales of my adventures!
  • You know, Uncle Philip, it is actually easier for big publishing houses that have the means to do so to take their own photographs rather than use yours.
  • Besides, even if they did, your photographs would still remain free; they would only be helping you to share them.
  • On the other hand, by forbidding commercial applications you are preventing your photographs from being used on inexpensive DVDs and books published from Wikipedia content.
    • At these last words, Uncle Philip exclaims:
  • By Jove! So, thinking to block the way of wealthy profiteers, I was about to stifle the sharing of free knowledge! You are right, let's put my adventures under CC-by-sa!
  • By Jove !
Tens toda a razão! Vamos licenciar as minhas aventuras com a CC-BY-SA.
Texto
  • Boa idea, Xoana!
  • Agora é ... querendo evitar o lucro dos aproveitados impediría a libre difusión do coñecemento. Tes toda a razón! Autorizemos as miñas aventuras con CC-BY-SA.
