| Description |
English: Illustration of the optical transfer function and its relation to image quality. The optical transfer function of a well-focused (a), and an out-of-focus optical imaging system without aberrations (d). As the optical transfer function of these system is real and non-negative, the optical transfer function is equal to the modulation transfer function by definition. Images of a point source and spoke target are shown in (b,e) and (c,f), respectively.
Русский: Иллюстрирование оптической передаточной функции (ОПФ) и её взаимосвязь с качеством изображения. ОПФ сфокусированного изображения (рис. a), и расфокусированного оптической системой без аберраций (рис. d). Значения ОПФ этой системы лежат во множестве действительных чисел и не отрицательны, то ОПФ по определению равна ФПМ (функции передачи модуляции). Изображения точечного источника и радиальной миры показаны на рис. (b,e) и (c,f) соответственно.
Français : Illustration de la fonction de transfert optique et sa relation à la qualité de l'image. La courbe (a) montre la fonction de transfert d'un système avec une bonne mise au point et la courbe (d) celle d'un système mal mis au point. La fonction de transfert de ces systèmes étant réelle et positive, la fonction de transfert optique est par définition la fonction de transfert de modulation.
