Johnston Atoll is a 2.67 km² atoll in the North Pacific Ocean, about one-third of the way from Hawaii to the Marshall Islands. The atoll is an unincorporated territory of the United States, administered from Washington, D.C. by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service of the U.S. Department of the Interior as part of the National Wildlife Refuge system. Johnston Atoll, as well as ► Baker Island, ► Howland Island, ► Jarvis Island, ► Kingman Reef, ► Midway Atoll, ► Wake Island, and ► Palmyra Atoll, lies in the Pacific Ocean, south of Hawaii.
