[edit]

Thanks for bringing those copyright violations I uploaded to my attention, I've nominates them all for deletion now as they are all in fact derivative works ans I highly doubt that any of them are old enough to be in the public domain. Erik Nussbicker

[edit]

Hi BevinKacon, I've reverted/removed your speedy-tags of the "Erik Nussbicker"-images, not because they might be wrong, but because the regular DR is still ongoing and as they don't seem to be blatant copyvios. --Túrelio (talk</span>) 09:23, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message. I'm always checking and citing the sources of images before uploading them to commons, so I wanted to check how it could happen, that an image was violating any rights. So I can learn how to avoid this mistake if it happened. But I'm not able to see my uploading edit anymore. Is there a way to find my cited sources, that means, to make my uploading edit visible for me? Greeting,--Anglo-Araneophilus~commonswiki (talk) 10:52, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Good spot on this copyright violation. I´ve found more proof to it and added on this image page as the following commentary, "Also, flickr uploader admits that "pictures were randomly found on the net, they were not taken by me", to take any doubts that might appeared, like mine as i always thought that this image was a self made work. Hello.

KevinBacon, I am writing to you because you've deleted two of the images that I've uploaded for an article on Wikipedia named Goblin Sword. I apologise for uploading copyrighted material. I did not realise that even a screenshot of the game would be under copyright, regardless of my knowledge about copyright laws.

Thank you CrayonS (talk) 11:52, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not revert the deletion request template any more. Converting speedy deletions into regular DRs is now a valid form of objection to speedy deletion per a discussion at the admins' noticeboard. Please feel free to comment at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Photoshop-screenshot.JPG though. De728631 (talk) 21:29, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I uploaded the file, but i'm not the author. As you say me, i must provide "from or who created it". That's what i did.... If you go to: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Alyssa_Sutherland.jpg , you can find de source (http://vikings.wikia.com/wiki/File:Alyssa_Sutherland.jpg). Following the link, you'll see a tab called "File History". There you will see the author. I would like to link directly, but i can't get the url ... Many wikis warned me that before putting any image must enter a description where you found this image to have no problems and I am doing this. Sincerely I don't know what to do. Nominating PD-text tweets

[edit]

Stop nominating PD-text tweets for deletion. Just stop it. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 04:48, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Alexis Jazz: The onus isn't on me to edit and upload replacements to make it compliant with Commons policies. With the screenshots containing Twitter profile photographs, you can either revert yourself, or remove the photographs. Adding Template:Non-free frame revdel should get the old versions deleted too.
The majority are of questionable scope, so would likely only delay their deletion anyway.--BevinKacon (talk) 18:53, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You don't (yet) understand the scope of Commons. It goes beyond Wikipedia. As I said in the edit notice: "PD-text, if you disagree, nominate". I didn't say "PD-text, if you disagree, go to edit war with me and see who will win". Because of that, I will roll back those "dw no source since" speedy deletion tags. You could nominate if you must, but it's a bad idea. It would be much wiser to start a discussion about such tweets in general to get consensus on the subject. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 14:52, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing to do with scope, the screenshots contain a photo, of which no source \ licensing information has been provided. Pretty straight forward. Unlikely a DR would overrule core policies.--BevinKacon (talk) 19:35, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello BevinKacon, I noticed that I was given a final warning from you because the images I uploaded are considered not a work of mine. I sincerely apologize for uploading such material. I did not know about the CC licensing rules and that a cropped picture taken from a copyrighted picture would be under copyright protection. I apologize for any inconvinience. Thanks

Cat Stevens and 2959 others

[edit]

Dear BevinKacon, You added a tag ("missing evidence of permission") with 3 photographs of Cat Stevens from Beeld & Geluid Wiki (the Netherlands). These files are not missing evidence of permission. They form part of a collection of thousands of photographs made available by Beeld & Geluid (Hilversum) in collaboration with Wikimedia Commons. See the Commons page made by User:85jesse (working at Beeld & Geluid) in case of doubt. At present the Category:Media from Beeld en Geluid Wiki holds 2962 images, used 7682 times on Wiki. File:Tekken7 Logo.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

File:Tekken7 Logo.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

این یک اثر اشتقاقی نیست

[edit]

Redundant deletion tagging

[edit]

Hello BevinKacon, I checked my watchlist this afternoon to notice a series of edits like these : Special:Diff/326340917, shortly following my edits which were already nominating them for deletion. My question is: why? I'm one of the admins that delete most G10s, and I deemed that set not qualifying for G10, but either way, it'll most likely be deleted in a few days anyway. It would be more worthwhile to go through other categories to find other images to nominate for deletion instead of adding a different deletion tag on images already slated for deletion. Thanks. Hi KevinBacon. I am the original author of the photo. I've updated my site to reflect that the photo was released into the public domain, so it is suitable for inclusion on Wikimedia Commons. Notification about possible deletion

[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Speedy deletion of two files

[edit]

Hey BevinKacon, I understand the request for deletion of File:Sandra Naujoks 2011.jpg and File:Moritz Kranich 2011.jpg. But are you sure that the source image File:Nations Cup London Winner Team Germany.jpg was deleted correctly? I am pretty sure it was under a correct license. Maybe the license what just valid in Germany because the file was imported from the german wikipedia, as you can see here. Greetings and merry christmas, M-B (talk) 12:39, 24 December 2018 (UTC).[reply]

I had no part in the deletion of the original file, if you'd like it reviewed, file a COM:UDR.--BevinKacon (talk) 12:46, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@M-B: source (in 2013 at the time of upload, may have changed later) was "Deutscher Poker Sportbund", permission was "Deutscher Poker Sportbund" and the author was Juergen Bachmann. That raises questions. If the image was http://www.hochgepokert.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Nations-Cup-London-Winner-Team-Germany.jpg it may also have been deleted because of the trophy. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 17:08, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes that was the picture. For me it is important to say that I have not uploaded any copyrighted picture. I was banned before because of a similiar case where I just cropped a picture which was later marked as copyright. -- M-B (talk) 23:05, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

About my images that you are confused about,

[edit]

Hi, I just got the message that some of the images I have have been put on the deletion notice board, and since there appears to be confusion, I'll explain.

Firstly, File:Wilmington Delaware Skyline.png. I uploaded this image way back when and I didn't see a copyright logo so I assumes it would be okay to use. I have removed it from the List of Tallest Buildings in Wilmington, Delaware article just to be safe in case it was copyright because back then, I didn't know better.

Secondly, File:Comcast Innovation and Technology Center.jpg can be found on my personal Flickr account. The link is here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/146875064@N03/31512090804/in/dateposted-public/

Third, the rest of the images were taken by some fellow members on a development forum website that can be found at http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=72398 and I think it was ok to use them here so I did.

I hope this clears some confusion about these images and if these images are still not okay on wikipedia, I am very sorry and I do not want to violate any policies. Thank's for the notice and have a great day! Jonesrmj (talk) 20:48, 31 December 2018 (UTC)jonesrmj[reply]

Photo à problème ?

[edit]

Bonjour BevinKacon,

Cordialement --Jamain (talk) 07:46, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I saw this introduction outside the NATIONAL monument, assumed it is a US Gov work, and uploaded it to Commons. After seeing your copyright notice, I did a quick search on the internet, and this pdf published by National Park Service was the closest thing I could get. Do you think the art work is in PD? If so, what should I write in the licensing part? (talk) 22:10, 18 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring over "Original" template

[edit]

BevinKacon do not edit war over things on Commons. You were bold to add it, you got reverted, and now it is up to you to justify putting it back. Just putting it back without consensus is edit warring. You don't seem to understand what the {{Original}} template is for, nor do you understand the value of a 16-bit image.

Firstly, the template was intended for Wikisource. For example File:Noções elementares de archeologia fig189.png is a scan of a page of a book that is now at Wikisource. It is also used to mark obsolete maps for example File:United Arab Emirates-CIA WFB Map.png is from the 2004 CIA World Factbook and shouldn't be updated to a modern map. There is no sense that this TIFF is "obsolete". It is superior to all other formats we have since the smooth tonal graduations are handled well by the 16-bit data. In contrast all 8-bit files will suffer from banding artefacts and some degree of dithering. The lossy compressed files will also suffer from JPG artefacts. This is the kind of image that really benefits from 16-bit. If someone was to use Photoshop to modify this image, then they will certainly want to work with the 16-bit file, as any kind of modification to the 8-bit file will greatly increase the risk of artefacts being visible.

Commons is a repository, we do not make judgements about what users do to with our files. We have the Other versions field and the category field to indicate that there are other images to choose from. You also seem upset this is "uncropped" as though your square crops are inherently superior. The creator of this image presumably felt the aspect ratio used has some purpose or aesthetic merit. Let's leave it for re-users to crop images. Even Wikipedia markup can present a cropped thumb without having to create one on Commons.

A situation where the "Original" template might be useful for the black hole image is if the ESO published an even better, sharper image in 2020.

Please will you revert your incorrect use of this template.

Btw, your File:Black hole - Messier 87 crop max res.webp is only 224 pixels high. And an 8-bit png is only 20% smaller than an 8-bit zip-compressed tif. Such a difference may be important if you are storing lots of images, but for a single image, is not "far inferior". The reason this file is so large is the excellent 16-bit quality. -- Colin (talk) 10:13, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User:Colin, can we use Template:Superseded instead if I supply correctly lossless uncropped PNG? I am looking to provide something, as a 93+ MB TIF isn't great for typical uses.
File:Black hole - Messier 87 crop max res.webp is not 224 high, it's a mediawiki bug.
Please review my edits to File:1000 Year Temperature Comparison on SpringerImages.jpg and File:British Columbia Regiment 1940 original.jpg.--BevinKacon (talk) 08:29, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is your view that a 8-bit file supersedes or should be used in preference to a 16-bit file does not hold for many cases. An 8-bit PNG isn't lossless compared to an 16-bit TIF. The former has 256 shades of red, green and blue to work with; the latter 65536. That's 256 times less precision: huge information loss. If someone simply wants an image to stick on a website then they'll pick the JPG we already offer as an alternative version. If someone wants to stick the file into Photoshop and work on it, the 8-bit file is dreadful, no matter which compression format you pick. The only time the 16-bit file could be regarded as superseded is if there is another 16-bit image format with better compression that Commons supports and a wide variety of editing tools supports. A 16-bit tiff is considered the highest quality interchange format in photography. Considering that folk are happy to stream HD or 8K videos these days, most folk will not find 93MB a problem at all. Other than download size, there is no reason why anyone would choose to use the PNG: for web purposes the JPG is quite sufficient. -- Colin (talk) 19:30, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. And of course, you were right about the dithering in the "original" 8-bit that ESO offered. -- Colin (talk) 08:44, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy tagging files already in the deletion queue

[edit]

Why do you add copyvio tags to files that already have a DR open or "no permission since" waiting to run out? - Alexis Jazz ping plz 15:16, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Because they are blatant copyvios with no possibility of being kept.--BevinKacon (talk) 15:23, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You too make mistakes you know. Some would. And the DR won't close itself, it just becomes a DR that can't possibly be discussed if the file is deleted. So now one admin needs to handle your copyvio tag and another admin still has to handle the DR. That's just creating workload, in a way a form of forum shopping. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 15:29, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Wrong, User:Krdbot closes the DR.--BevinKacon (talk) 15:34, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Images on the "BitLife" app page

[edit]

Hello, All the images of mine which you deleted off of the BitLife page, which included the following...

File:BitLife yellow skin emoji.jpg

File:BitLife Reddit community.jpg

File:BitLife driving test.jpg

File:BitLife first kiss.jpg

File:Warsaw, Poland in BitLife.jpg

File:BitLife Area 51 pop up.jpg

File:BitLife relationships tab with main character.jpg

File:BitLife relationships tab.jpg

File:BitLife character stat bars.jpg

File:BitLife leprechaun occupation .jpg

File:BitLife gravestone.jpg

...were images I screenshoted of the BitLife app myself while playing. All of them were my own original images. Now if a screenshot of app for an image counts as a copyright violation, then I can see where you justified taking them down. However if it's not, then there's no reason why they should have been deleted, especially given the developers of BitLife (who would own any such copyright of my screenshots if such copyright existed) actively encourage you to post screenshots of the game online while playing with their own buttons that they have implemented into the game.

Sincerely, Psherman122

Hi BevinKacon, I was asked to review your {{No permission}} tagging of File:Castell sprichwort.JPG. I've reverted it as it does not appear to be helpful to ask for a permission in {{PD-ineligible}} cases. In such cases, a regular deletion request should be opened if there is serious doubt that a file is below the threshold of eligibility for copyright. I've added an English description to this file which provides a little bit more background to this particular case. I hope this helps. Regards, AFBorchert (talk) 14:50, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

JPS68 had access to my computer only in the 2nd quarter of 2016. My password has been changed since this time. This is not true, both File:Mogettes de Vendée.jpg and File:Poulet farci du Gâtinais.jpg were uploaded outside of Q2 2016. All 2016 is suspect, which is around 30% of your uploads.--BevinKacon (talk) 14:11, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You may have a look on Category:Files may uploaded by JPS68 with Marianne Casamance account. I have grouped together the photos which, for me, must be loads by JPS68. Concerning the others, you have no way of asserting that they are not mine, or in agreement with the freedom of rights, for old postcards. If you touch the other files, you would do it against the Wikipedia principles, which you imply wanting to serve. Marianne Casamance (talk) 16:34, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

File:Statue of Frank Pantridge cropped.jpg

[edit]

Dear BevinKacon. I stand accused of "not having indicated the source of an incorporated work" concerning the file "Statue of Frank Partridge cropped.jpg". All I did was cropping the file "Statue of Frank Partridge.jpg" stored in Wikimedia. I believed that photo to have been taken and submitted to Wikimedia by the eminent Wikipedian User:Bazonka, who edits since about 15 years, has more than 51,365 edits to his credit, lots of barnstars and other honours. I see now that this file is credited to User:Lecochonbleu. I did not add anything to this photo. So what source should I acknowledge other than user Bazonka or Lecochonbleu?

I write to you among others because I have cropped several other files and submitted them as separate images on Wikimedia. I guess these are just as likely to be deleted as this one, and I would like to learn what to do in such cases. If the File reserved-word had a Crop parameter, I would gladly use that.

Or is it that you want to delete the non-cropped image for copyright violation and mine is then just affected as a consequence? The statue is surely not very old, but it belongs to Lisburn municipality and stands in the public space in front of the conference centre. I cannot imagine that the municipality would object.

I am a newby and still on an endless learning curve, being surprised each time by all the things forbidden in Wikipedia and all the menaces one receives ("the use of discretionary sanctions has been authorized ...") when trying to contribute. Thanks for your time and for looking after these photos. It must be quite a job. Humbly yours Johannes Schade (talk) 20:50, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have no objection to my photos being cropped and re-used... however, I'm fairly sure that's not my photo of Pantridge. (I put 3 photos of the statue on Commons, all taken in fairly poor lighting - this cropped one is a much better picture.) I can't find the uncropped version of this photo on Commons or elsewhere. Back blows picture

[edit]

Hello. I have found a message in https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Back_blows_against_choking_in_adult.jpg that doesn't sound very good. It would be valid according to https://shutterstock.com/license clause 1. Anyway, I thank any guide in case of any problem. The picture is quite necessary so I will need some time at least. Minecraft shader image

[edit]

Hello. I have recently added an image to an article about Minecraft mods. You described it as copyrighted, because "unfree video game screenshot". I do not understand that, because: 1. I made sure the image comes from a website, which has only photos free from copyrighting claims, 2. there are a lot of paid-game screenshots in Wikipedia articles. Could you please explain it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Szymioza (talk • contribs) 22:12, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you have nothing of help to say then kindly move on and allow someone to reply who will be of help. –Davey2010Talk 00:54, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You did actually ask for any users opinion by posting in that location.--BevinKacon (talk) 14:23, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I asked for other editors help, I didn't ask for their opinions per se, Whether you or anyone else on the project believes they should be left alone is irrelevant to me as either way the images were going to be reuploaded so my goal was find out the best method to use not whether they should be uploaded at all. Happy editing. –Davey2010Talk 15:39, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Question about GPL

[edit]

Hello BevinKacon, I am wondering what you mean about being unable to relicense a image created in a GPL program as CC-BY-SA? If I created an image by drawing in GIMP, for example, I don't believe that would be GPL, just as if I created an image in Photoshop, Adobe certainly wouldn't own it. Leijurv (talk) 01:16, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User:Leijurv, as the software generated the image from data you have no authorship over, it could be argued there was no creative input from you. As it's the software that added the new data, the license of the software should be used. See Wikilegal/Sweat of the Brow. You could argue that neither licenses are valid, as the original data isn't yours, so should be deleted. If you produced a large mansion in Minecraft, I downloaded it, rendered it in Splunk with my own custom colors, I cannot relicense it under CC.--BevinKacon (talk) 21:33, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ah. I don't really think that's true since there is many hours of effort required to world-download the area in the first place (2b's world is not publicly for download so you actually have to travel back and forth in-game to load the whole area), import it into the program, set up all the parameters for lighting, reflection, textures, etc etc, setup and position the camera, and babysit it while it raytraces for multiple days. And I am aware that you didn't really buy the de minimis argument in the first place. Thank you for explaining where you are coming from though and linking that policy! Leijurv (talk) 21:55, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You can restore the CC licenses, I will not revert, but please keep the new description I added, thank you.--BevinKacon (talk) 19:47, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted image

[edit]

Hey, Bevin. You've recently deleted an image called File:SibiuPSDHeadquarters.png that I've posted on Commons.

I was aware the photo might get deleted because of copyright violation, but I've still added it after seeing that this photo is also from Google Maps, but didn't get deleted. So, why did mine get deleted? Could you explain, please? Lupishor (talk) 14:30, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User:Lupishor, that file exists because an admin hasn't deleted it yet. Policies apply to all users.--BevinKacon (talk)

@BevinKacon: Thanks for answering. Is there any way to add Google Maps images? Lupishor (talk) 19:24, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User:Lupishor, there is not, you would need to use OpenStreetMap instead.--BevinKacon (talk) 19:27, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Image submitted for deletion

[edit]

Hey, I am not a license specialist, but please consider not deleting this file: File:Computer engineering.png. In license there is "You can use in digital format on websites, blog posts, social media, advertisements, film and television productions, web and mobile applications, in printed materials such as magazines, newspapers, books, brochures, flyers, product packaging, for decorative use in your home, office or any public place, or personal use. For purposes of this agreement, “use” means to copy, reproduce, modify, edit, synchronize, perform, display, broadcast, publish, or otherwise make use of." It also says

Restricted Uses.

  • No Unlawful Use. You may not use content in a pornographic ... manner.
  • No Standalone File Use. You may not use content in any way that allows others to download, extract, or redistribute content as a standalone file (meaning just the content file itself, separate from the project or end use).
  • No Use in Trademark or Logo. You may not use content as part of a trademark, design mark, tradename, business name, service mark, or logo.
  • No Products for Resale. You may not use content in connection with any goods or services intended for resale or distribution where the primary value lies in the content itself including, without limitation, cards, stationery items, paper products, calendars, apparel items, posters (printed on paper, canvas, or any other media), CDs, DVDs, mobile applications or other items for resale, license or other distribution for profit. This includes “on demand” products (meaning products in which content is selected by a third party for customization on such product on a made-to-order basis), including, without limitation, postcards, mugs, t-shirts, posters and other items (this includes the sale of products through custom designed websites, as well as sites such as zazzle.com and cafepress.com)
  • No Electronic Templates. You may not use content in electronic or digital templates intended for resale or other distribution (for example, website templates, business card templates, electronic greeting card templates, brochure design templates).
This makes it incompatible for here. Please do not upload any further images from this website. Thank you.--BevinKacon (talk) 15:49, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
OK. I just have a question - the fact that I changed the image resolution to just only 200x200 px from original 2048x1536 does not make it useable for wiki? -Et4y (talk) 15:59, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Clash of clan

[edit]

I'm so sorry about this. Actually, my purpose is to make the article looking good. Why Wikipedia English only can upload it while the other Wikipedia can't upload. it's not fair. In Wikipedia, we must be sharing knowledge and maybe Wikipedia policies need to consider this. For example, the clash of clan logo only Wikipedia English can upload and I suggest this logo also can be used in other Wikipedia by putting permission. This is only a suggestion to improve Wikipedia. Sincerely NikoUMS (talk) 04:15, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I see you applied to Commons:License_review/Requests/Archive/2018#BevinKacon, but were turned down. However, it's been two years, and due to your excellent sleuthing at Commons:Deletion requests/Files found with "Sky Brown" "UPROXX", I think you might be a great help to the project as a license reviewer. I mean - I'm a great help to the project (well, OK, some help to the project!), and you clearly spotted a video that I didn't, so I'd think you could help even more. Want to give it a try? --GRuban (talk) 18:57, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Abusive CU case at de:wp

Hi BevinKacon, yesterday you issued a warning and nominated multiple recent uploads by PastorPeitl for deletion. You notified COM:AN/U which led to a block of two weeks for PastorPeitl. He has now opened an abusive and absurd CU request at de:wp where I have already posted a comment which provides some background. I am sorry for this and this is absolutely bizarre as you have no contributions at de:wp. I do not think that you need to add a comment. I will watch it and keep you informed. Given the age of the publication (2007), I'm afraid the written permission I had in my mailbox disappeared since then. Feel free to delete it as it seems there are now many other pictures used to depict the object.

File:BBS - The Documentary intro.jpg

[edit]

This feels like you pressuring me into guarding my files here from capital punishment – because of whatever small inconvenience or error of form in how I documented the original license statement for that file that you are too lazy to fix yourself.

I don’t even know what exactly I’m supposed to do for you here – add a redundant quote of the license statement on the source site?.. Please go fix it for yourself.
Maybe here’s a more convenient second link for you: https://archive.org/details/BBS.The.Documentary
Here’s a quote of the licensing statement over on archive.org: “Usage Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 United States”
Or am I supposed to call the authors for you? Yes, they donated the whole ginormous documentary. It’s fuckin’ awesome. Maybe let the Internet explain you some details...--Reseletti (talk) 13:26, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please be more specific about the problem? It is the vector version of a previously uploaded version of the NGO logo.

Thank you!
