Hi, a photography from 1959 cannot be PD-old-70, as it is less than 70 years ago even for the photo itself. But the required 70 years refer to the death of the photographer. In addition, your source-entry "Myanmar Historical Archive" is a bit unsatisfactory, as you did not provide any online-access. The latter is usually required to evaluate copyright etc. In which way did you obtain this image? --Túrelio (talk) 13:15, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To Túrelio,
For File:Ma Kyan.jpg:

Its license has been changed to PD-Myanmar. According to the Copyright Act 1914 of Myanmar, terms of copyright for photos taken before 17 January 1971 has expired. Ma Kyan was born on 1918 and that photo is assumed to take when she's at London in 1959 at age 41. So, it clearly passes PD Myanmar.

For File:Myatmon.jpg:

I obtained this from Myanmar Wikipedia here. It is accepted to use on mywiki. Actually it also passes PD Myanmar since it was taken circa 1960s. Zin Win Hlaing (talk) 14:45, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. PD-Myanmar might solve the license/permission problem. However, the true source is still unclear. Myanmar Wikipedia cannot really be a source, especially as there are no data provided from the image really came. To repeat my above question: what is "Myanmar Historical Archive"? How did you get something from them and in which form? Why is there no online source provided? --Túrelio (talk) 15:54, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Túrelio, ok SOURCE ... Here is the source. The photo was taken circa 1965, so it passes PD-Myanmar. Btw, "Myanmar Historical Archive" is a website where many Burmese historical photos have been archived which is usually used as a source when Burmese historical photos have been uploaded. Needs perspective correction. And since there are probably many railroad crossings in Tokio, coordinates would be nice. --Plozessor 04:23, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
